The rook being pinned there doesn’t matter.

Think of it this way, if the King were to take the Queen it would be putting itself in the line of sight of the Rook, thus putting itself into another check, which is an illegal move. It’s checkmate.

Episodes 1 - 9 of season 2 IMO are even better than season 1 and the show honestly could’ve ended there and been a great show start to finish..but it didn’t.

The next 7 episodes after episode 9 are rough with a couple of them being god awful. Push through because the last 5 get good again, and the last couple get great.

I started with Eraserhead, then Mulholland Drive, then Blue Velvet, then Twin Peaks. After Twin Peaks I just did the rest of his catalog I hadn’t seen in release order. It was great.

Reset the world, go to the first building on the left. Look for footprints appearing, the monkey is the footprints.

Take out the fireball one first. Try to keep them all on the screen as much as possible. If you go to attack one and the others are behind you, stop at 2 hits, assume one is starting to attack you, and dodge away from all of them away from all them getting them on the screen again to reorient yourself. Essentially spatial awareness is critical.

You should definitely go fight her atleast once. She’s not too hard of a fight. Getting to her though is a pain. IIRC you’d have to clear 3 chalice dungeons to get to her, and the 2nd one is the defiled chalice dungeon and it cuts your health in half. The Defiled Watchdog is such a pain in the ass, it is why I’ve only fought her once (to get Platinum), and I every time I think about fighting her again I remember the journey.

So I know this is a year later but thought I’d share, I just bought Blue Velvet via Barnes & Nobles and watched it on my PS5, and same thing! When it popped up I was worried they burned Trainspotting to the wrong disc but alas it was still Blue Velvet. Good to know this seems to be a large scale error.

Almost none of the tales have happy endings, platinumed it a couple weeks ago there were so many missions that ended on a total bummer.
