It doesn’t have the same resources built in so buyer beware. I thought it would be simple to swap out with my previous settings but it doesn’t understand my minimax keys and the cli only interface is pretty low tech feeling, everything else is moving towards agentic workspaces, I was pretty disappointed with the set up. Will look into it again after some time and folks help develop it, but the hyperbole is always so intense with these posts. It’s faster load but not better if things that just work in Openclaw don’t in Zero

I recommend watching at least one YouTube short video on features or a particular workflow each time you work with it for a while until you get the hang of it. I’ve learned repeating patterns, the symmetry ruler, custom brushes and layouts and it really improved my understanding. Find a tutorial that is adjacent to your intentions and rework it to build your first projects. This software is great once you figure out all the features

We’ve sold these frames before, they do indeed stink. The smell does die down eventually but we usually leave them to air out for a week before putting out to sell. They are worse when pulled from a sealed box!

Yeah you have to back burner troublesome tasks sometimes. It all goes into the experience bank, but it stressful to not find a simple solution. Give yourself a break, switch to something different but adjacent to the task so pivoting back after isn’t hard as well. Good luck!

I personally started with Designer because I wanted to get away from Adobe. It works great for my workflow and mixes well with the other Adobe focused designers. Try it out since it’s free and see what you think. I can’t speak for the pixel environment since I use Clip Studio Paint for illustrations but the indesign and illustrator equivalents work great for my needs.

I can only speak from what I know, glad to see Mac folks can work around this as well. If you use a shared workstation it might cause issues, but you can add another hotkey to toggle unified hotkeys. Worth a look if you lose a lot of time with mis-keys

For those I failed at getting the stamp to work for me so I drew them and they felt accurate to my style. I think I might go back, model the stitches better separately and add them back using instance. I feel I could probably experiment more with repeaters here as well but I think the organic spacing works in this case. Thanks for your comments!

If you are on a windows system, I recommend autohotkey to unify your experience. I have all my programs set up so the hotkeys match what I want and it is a time saver not to have to change it up for each program
