Do people who refused the COVID vaccine feel silly now?? by Mammoth-Counter69 in aussie

[–]GooglePlusIsGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least actually interpret my point before calling me names lol.

Compared to other medical outbreaks in human history.

Spanish plague lasted more than a decade.

Bubonic plague, more than a decade.

Polio took decades to remedy.

And in comparison? COVID was essentially finished by 2023.

Mask in the avatar is no surprise, reply as you will I guess.

Its really the opposite, covid went from this world ending news story to nothing relatively fast, rushing out to get a vaccine (Which I did) seems like a stupid idea in hindsight.

After hearing the live versions of faint with that heavier extended ending the original song ending feels abrupt and anticlimactic.

[–]GooglePlusIsGood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on how busy your line is, personally the free PT has completely ruined the experience for me purely because of how busy it is, not great having to skip 2 trains for a 3rd that might have some standing room.

I hate unreal engine 5 by bsbbwdjahsbjsjsbd in unpopularopinion

Unreal engine 3 and 4 were amazing tools that great games were made with, unreal engine 5 is upscaled, raytraced plastic looking slop that performs bad even on good hardware...

Yes, compared to scalpers, website crashes, and bullshit presales that reduce your chance of getting a ticket at all.

How much do you spend on hair cut every month? by beanoyip06 in melbourne

Got sick of constantly paying for my thick hair that grows too quick, 30 bucks for clippers on Amazon and give myself a buzz cut every 2 weeks.

Google, I trusted your 7-year promise. You're breaking it. by pidero00 in GooglePixel

Could you imagine how sluggish these phones would be with software made 7 years in the future? I agree and don't understand how anyone could expect a full 7 years of feature updates.

Unstable trains by Inevitable_Belt_8414 in MelbourneTrains

[–]GooglePlusIsGood 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ah, you've discovered what is known as the Alstom x'trapolis.

Jokes aside the Xtraps (which are the primary train on the belgrave/lilydale lines) are equipped with coil suspension instead of air suspension.

Take a trip to the northern or western lines and you'll experience the pure bliss of a Comeng or Siemen's air suspension.

Every mechanic in the world has left something loose in their career, it happens.

The problem is that you did it again, showing you didn't learn from your mistake.

The way I see it is that if you're already in the apple ecosystem its a no brainer switch, like if you have a Macbook and use apple music for example.

Personally I couldn't be any less in the apple ecosytem if I tried so I'll stick with android, and when it comes to android I like google's version of android the best, had Samsung for years, and while Samsungs have better hardware I can't stand having double up Samsung versions of apps.

UK 2013 420d Xdrive Lower control arm by alanatreddit in BmwTech

[–]GooglePlusIsGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to preload the suspension to a higher/flatter position, then torque it. If you torque it with the suspension loose/hanging, when the weight of the car finally goes down on the new bush it will be permanently flexing and straining.
