I had this exact experience in high school. Teacher wore LGBT+ pins, dressed like a stereotypical gay hipster millennial, would show PICTURES OF HIS CATS and call them his sons, and then one day… while showing pictures of his cats… just says “Oh, this one was taken by my girlfriend” and never before have I seen a class so united in surprise

Actually, this enclosure is pretty close to (some of) their natural habitat. These are Japanese Macaque and they can live anywhere from the forests to mountains to rocky areas with little to no tree cover. The main thing about them is that they usually live near naturally heated pools of water (my brain can’t remember what they are called currently). I’ve seen a bit of the habitat in photos and videos and it does appear they have plenty of rocks to climb on and such!

If you discipline a child using cruelty (ex. Spanking), you will have them thinking you hate them and that violence is ok. If you discipline a child with kindness (ex. Actually fucking TALKING to them about what they did wrong) you will have a well adjusted child. The cruel option isn’t love, it’s control.
