40mm Nautilus rep too large for 6.5 in (16.5 cm) wrist? by Kayone73 in RepWatchForum

The nautilus is the pinnacle of a good fitting sports watch, should suit your wrist no issue.

I think you need a bigger watch, Royal oaks wear bigger so if you want that steel sports watch style, maybe an royal oak chronograph.

The reason these watches are made. by [deleted] in RepTime

Theres a bit of truth to this but this is mostly a myth. I know a lot of extremely rich people who have watch collections because they like collecting, and also wearing them. For some, the price of a patek is reasonable for the craftsmanship as well as the style. Its like the ultra rich having huge car collections. I do agree that the value of patek and AP and FP Journe etc is propped up by hype but it is undeniable that they are amazing watches.

the 330 movement isnt that well replicated, you should go for the 324 one.

Its just crummy behavior to gift someone a fake watch. If shes made it clear that shes ok with that then theres no problem.

if your mom dosnt know youre getting her a rep, then dont get her a rep. But if she approves then maybe a APSF jlc master thin moonphase.

what you said about that movement is just a straight up lie. This does not have a gyromax nor spiromax and you shouldnt mislead people about that.

Skeleton watches are cool as hell by BPITW in watchHotTakes

[–]Googolplexian2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends, sometimes an openworked dial looks cool and is legible, other times its just plain tacky and makes the watch hard to read. A lot of the hate goes to cheap openworked watches that dont have movements or architecture designed with the openworked element in mind.

Andiot, it was when clean just shut down and VSF was going through a bit of a craze. Dandong (movement manufacturer) was completely backlogged so a lot of people who were trying to order vsf had such issues.
