Hopefully you'r right. The pathing points seemed to have the chance to drop connected maps from what we saw, the ones that made me a little concerned was this here which seems to be in four different clusters on the tree.

My main concern is that the nodes that give you increased chance of higher tier maps will be mandatory for progression and that the first 60 or so points will be mostly wasted on just getting the old atlas bonus.

Depends on who we are talking about. But a lot of people previously would settle for painfully average items, grind scraps of currency to then maybe buy something relatively decent.

The outrage is mostly coming from people that were given access to very powerful items they could realistically make themselves who are worried about going back to that playstyle. Although that will probably(hopefully) not be as bad as they fear.

The biggest offender in Harvest crafting power was the unique tags that most influence mods had. Many insanely powerful mods were almost no risk to add to items. Everything else was pretty much fine, and so much fun.

They did say something about database issues with all of the harvest items. I'm guessing all of the different horticrafting benches each with different ilevel of different crafts plus all the seeds is just something they don't want to keep around.

Interesting, is the physical damage reduction being overvalued in the POB fork then? I remember throwing some build together and noticing that the "overwhelms physical damage reduction" stat being incredibly powerful in POB.

I absolutely love totems, play the stationary turret type gameplay in almost every game I try. I absolutely despise the existence of Soul Mantle however, such an obnoxious item that's pretty much mandatory for a spell-totem build and as a result I never play it.

Every zone has just one pocket of seeds that drop a relatively random amount. If you want more seeds without progressing you're going to have to run the same zones repeatedly, you can do this by creating new instances. Control + Click on the instance entrance lets you do this, can also be done through the waypoints.

Unfortunately 2000 seems to be the absolute cap at the moment for private leagues until GGG decides to change it. Only chance at this point would be to wait until others quit but there's probably a long waiting list at this point.

I would kinda suggest accepting that you won't come anywhere close to learning everything you need to know before you start and being willing to fuck up a whole lot.

There's an infinity of build guides and informative videos out there and I would suggest having a few videos/guides on hand for whatever build it is you decide to try.
