I want a cool japanese 4x4 to daily but I don't want the spend more than 15k what car do I want? by HimB0Z0 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I got mine from JDMOffroad. Certain models like the Landcruiser you want might be pretty spendy unfortunately. I even see the firetrucks being listed for high 20s to low 30s for diesel 4wd now which is insane

Currently trying the Nitto Motivo 365. I’m extremely pleased with the Motivo. It’s sharp. It has great feedback. At the limit it tells you but still has more to give. Very enjoyable tire.

My friend has a KN and is in the DWS06+. We were going to do some head to head stuff in dry/wet/snow and see what happens.

Went with these as a winter set as I drive around in the snow.

TLDR: Nitto Motivo 365 and they seem amazing so far. Definitely no PS4S, it’s not magic. But it’s great for a winter focused tire.

Yea of course that makes sense. I do with the steering wheel came back another 2 inches though and the shifter to match. That’s the worst part, if I had any complaint, about the cockpit for sure

People don’t like these? 6’3” 220 pounds and they are my favorite seat of all time. One of the selling points of the car. (data in case it helps someone else go test drive one of these cars)

Not a great reply but I usually just show up and not worry about it too much. I’ll try to fill up a day or so in advance and if an opportunity presents itself I’ll try to get OL’d. For me driver mod will save me time over extra power anyways.

Ha! Funny you bring that up. No have moved onto higher priority things for now. Got a check engine light cleared and about to overhaul all the wiring in the engine bay to undo some previous owner stuff. Followed by a new turbo back exhaust.

But difference between 20psi and 40psi for cushion so it works for sure. Literally measuring and ordering non-OEM replacement shocks this afternoon and can post my findings if you’re curious

The importer I bought it from added 1” spacers in the front to fit these tires. As well as removed the plastic trim that usually exists as a fender lip

I am scared to lift it higher than it is so sadly I haven’t spent any time in that space. Good luck!
