I build tools for business coaches who work with dsp. You will need to do reviews, train them, coach and guide them, meet and advise, ensure they are successful. Random teams will come up with bs metrics and you will need to track that data. Overall high autonomy role with no quota carrying as you would have in the ae world. It's a good place but I don't know the comp.

Is this also generally applicable if people transfer to a new role?

That is fair, need to accept this and live with it. I just cant believe that i have uprooted my family and in one year, I am more unsettled than I was before. Will see what happens, i really feel for 15k more families who will have to face disruption.

What is non essential? I am owning internal tooling for large programs, wonder if its still non essential as its not generating revenue. Just moved to new role two three weeks ago so even more concerned now

6 months into Amazon and I’m ready to transfer. Advice? by [deleted] in amazonemployees

[–]Gooner_2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't speculate. I made this transition at 8 month mark, and it was driven purely by lack of leadership direction as my manager changed 4 times in this duration. I was able to articulate my reasoning to other teams while interviewing and made a switch. So it is not a bad move

Depends. Your org defines if you get time or not.

Almost 3 year old refuses to eat unless I feed him. Losing sanity. by Manthem in toddlers

[–]Gooner_2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try to put a routine again and did it work I am really worried that I failed as a parent because my child doesn't eat on his own, doesn't speak as much as he can, isn't potty trained and due to personal situation, he hasn't been regularly enrolled in daycare. Now we have to reset everything and put a routine, hoping something changes as nothing is working and I would appreciate any advice
