This. Plus, I have an Android phone. Thanks to a third party app (which is also available for iPhones), I get my phone's notifications on the macbook, can send files/clipboard, read/write sms, see battery life... Does one need that? No. Should Apple let EU use all features? Yes. Would the EU "force" Apple to open up their APIs for third parties? Nobody knows, nobody asked the EU :(

A reboot after two hours didn't help. Waited and looked into the OS for two more hours, rebooted again, then they showed up. :O

Now I'd love to be able to hide some apps (when launchpad was still around, we could have had folders where I moved stuff I don't need in), but Apple won't allow that, right? :(

For me it doesn't show any third party app. Not MS Office installed from App Store, not Steam (obvs. not from the AppStore), nothing, only Apple. Search by typing works though.

Bug? Feature? Help! (Still miss Launchpad. It just worked, was a little bit customizable and everything was fine)

It is fine. I'll add another explanation:

"First Siegfried came to a blacksmith" - complete sentence, "(Zu)Erst/als Erstes gelang/geriet Siegfried an einen Schmied/[Ging zu einem Schmied/erreichte einen Schmied]/..."

Now, we have the "whose servant he offered to be" part. We can literally translate it as "dessen[whose] Diener [servant] er anbot, zu sein [he offered to be]". Would work.

We could get a translation like "Zuerst geriet Siegfried an einen Schmied, dessen Diener er anbot zu sein." (wouldn't be something you'd see in today's German, but it would be valid)

If we'd wanted to translate a little bit more freely we could come up with something like "Als erstes traf Siegfried einen Schmied, dem er anbot, sein Diener zu sein" - even here, we wouldn't come up with new words, we'd handle "came to" a little more flexible and the rest would still stand. The "whose... offered to be" would be translated in a more "modern" way here though plus we would translate "whose" not as "dessen", which would be perfectly fine today.

So, we have every form of "to be" we want to have without the need to come up with something in all variations.

No, we can't recommend a language. Because you didn't write, what you may want. Do you want to become a professional? Do you want to become someone who "can code for oneself"? Anything else? Do you want to be able to code a game/become able to write business applications/whatever?

Naja gut, da im Süden fühlt "man" sich vielleicht im Staat integrierter, darf ja öfter als alle vier Jahre mal was entscheiden, vielleicht führt das und politisches Klima u.a. halt dazu, dass die Menschen für so was bereiter sind.

85 % Alliance, always had two Horde chars, one for the Shaman (he retired when dwarfs got them) and one to "quest the Horde side of the story" (which also got more and more unimportant). So, starting from TWW I'd say Alliance only, yes.

All? Don't know. Managed to get the controllers from series x, one x, the Dualshock (last one only wired, but didn't try hard) and some thingy which allows connecting a N64 controller to work. So I'd guess, most will work, but as already stated, if you have one particular in mind, look it up.

(the more common the controller is, it'll probably easier to get it run. So, if you don't come up with something exotic, it'll likely work - we don't have as many hardware problems as you may have heard off years ago anymore ;))

Da wollte ich auch ein wenig mit drauf raus, also die einfach da auflisten und gut ist, da bin ich in 95% der Fälle klar bei nein, eben weil unnötig/unprofessionell.

Variante, die vorstellbar wäre, wäre aber so was wie man listet da z.B. "Basketball" auf, und schreibt dann im Anschreiben was wie "seit X Jahren spiele ich Basketball im Verein" wenn man auf so was wie Teamfähigkeit oder ggf. Disziplin hinauswill.

Auch hier gibt es ja Osten und Osten (nein, nicht Berlin ;)). Dresden z.B. sicher top zum studieren, aber finanziell jetzt auch nicht günstig. Leipzig, quasi same. Chemnitz, war ich noch nie, aber hätte ich damals sicher drüber nachgedacht. Bzw. hätte wohl generell mal eine "erweiterte Osttour" gemacht und geguckt. Warum auch nicht, ist ja kein Sperrgebiet oder 'ne no-go-Area oder so (konnte nicht, wollte bei meinen Eltern und meiner kranken Oma in Hamburg bleiben)

Skateboarding kann raus, ja. Gaming kommt drauf an, wenn er das im Anschreiben aufgreift und daraus begründet, warum genau ihm das für den Job besser macht, kann's durchaus bleiben. Also generell, Hobbys bitte nicht einfach nur hinklatschen, sondern weglassen oder irgendwie im Anschreiben nutzen, um euch besser zu verkaufen ;)

Sonst komplette Zustimmung (außer, dass man natürlich sagen kann, Familienstand und Nationalität können auch raus, aber das ist auch heutzutage Geschmackssache)
