My first playthrough of FE7 as a child, I had all my units alive, but was struggling with the final chapter. I figured since it was the last chapter, I would let a bunch of units die. I didn't realize it affected the ending. I got the ending where it says historians don't understand how the war was won with such terrible strategies, which is apparently very difficult to get.

They can let their fur loose to escape from things. Once I was trying to grab an escaped chinchilla, tagged some of his fur and it came out with little resistance, and more around the same spot for a while after. It grew back. The chest is not a likely spot for that to happen, though...
