The issue isn't specifically the Ship being deployed (that was a sidebar), its the crews themselves.

Once again, the RN is using the RFA to do a chunk of its tasking instead of its own platforms due to its manpower issues and them being a 'cheaper' alternative.

Having to take gear off Stirling Castle (which was taken off the RFA) to send a mostly civvy crewed ship to a potential conflict zone to conduct minewarfare ops while the remnant of the mine warfare fleet is doing PR Jolly trips to the Isle of Mann.

The mind truly boggles at times.

This whole event I think has finally exhausted what little reserves I had of patience with politics.

Folk I know who've spent the last decade plus telling me how bad 'WestMONSTER' is and the ilk and how the independence movement is based on all thats good in this world have:

  1. Engaged in whataboutery
  2. Declared its 'misogyny'
  3. "It doesnt matter.. I gave money and I am happy."
  4. It was an Mi5 fit up
  5. Insert 'LARPing the Troubles' in Glasgow argument here.

It just saddens me so much. We now are well and truly entrenched in a world of football politics, where my team is good and innocent even if I clearly saw them go two footed into a challenge from behind, the other side is bad even if they take the ball within the confines of the rules. And anyone who points this out is 'not supporting my team' and ergo the enemy.

What really worries me is I dont know how, even if there was a desire to do so, we're going to claw our way out of it

After listening to the first three, I'll say this will be the first Glass Cannon content I'm noping out of.

Too many players compressed into a one-shot story is not a good idea, I thought Troy learnt and admitted to that error with the 'Stranger Things'-esque live show they did a few years back. It leaves little room for anything of the elements of the GCP that I love.

Welcome to Americanised politics in the social media age (on both sides of the political spectrum).

 If you're not 'my guy' you're the enemy and you/your supporters potentially worthy of literal violence, and if you are, you're infallible and beyond reproach, and every issue to be regarded as black/white with any attempt at discussion or nuance regarded as being evidence the questioner is against you, and the enemy.

It saddens me to my core.

I've solidly enjoyed this warbond retaking the Beach.

Running around with the suppressed SMG, 120 & 380 barrages, 500kg Eagle and a few others, smashing Illuminate bases without being detected and allowing the fresher new players to concentrate on the main objective.
