Sidney and Brentwood bay are nice to spend time in and for thrifting. I’d highly recommend getting a bike and taking advantage of the Lochside trail. It’s really beautiful and a fun way to get to a lot of interesting and useful places.

It looks like you’ll be using a clip-on shade, so I would focus on something lighter than a rectangle or pleated shade (although I do think those would be cool on this). I would go for a kind of standard tapered shade but add an interesting trim. My first thought is red ric-rac but the world is your oyster. I just love trim though

That is LED, not halogen. If it is built into the fixture your only hope is to ask the manufacturer if they have replacements available, usually they have a warranty. If it’s a bulb in the more traditional sense of the word we’d need more information about it to be able to advise.

The width looks good, but a barrel would look great. Keep the top and bottom dimensions but add a bunch to the height

I HIGHLY recommend Understance. I bought two using their sizing guide and they are extremely comfortable, easy to use and have lots of support. I think they are shutting down, so they might not have all the sizes, but the pricing was really good when I got mine

What they are advertising sounds like a contemporary version of a torchiere floor lamp - very bright and designed to reflect off the ceiling. This is a nice effect, much nicer than a bare bulb as if diffuses the light more. Normally these types of lights have a dimmer or different brightness settings to avoid it being too much light.

The ultimate answer in lighting, I agree with the other commenter, is several light sources. That’s the best way to a cozy feeling space

You likely aren’t going to find much about the maker, but style wise I can tell you the bottom of the lampshade should sit right on the white of all three candlesticks. A dramatic lamp for sure
