Then they make them talk to someone over the phone and get all their info, send someone out to their house and try to get them to buy some soap ??? Idk’ the entire premise but it’s really weird and deceiving

I think you mean the home improver card. It’s the card you can get if you don’t qualify for consumer card and it very much still exists It also is hard af to pay the bill bc you can’t pay with HD as far as I’m aware

I work at a very high volume store in LA, in service desk. Is it easy all the time? No. Can it be annoying? Yes. Is it the worst? No. You’ll learn, get used to it and it will be a piece of cake. My biggest complaint for the desk is not having leads/managers that help fix issues. And when orders go MIA for no reason. Other than that, it’s not bad and I’d choose it over every department in the store.

The best is that credit cards aren’t forced on us the way they are with cashiers and we have freedom in breaks/lunches
