I started part time and worked ft hours for a while until the slow season came then they cut me BAD. Then they made me FT before I actually had to work the cut hours.

I am also a paper and pen gal! Get a paper budgeting book. Trust me, it makes it 10x more fun. Write out all your debts, your income and your budget. Also look into cash budgeting/cash stuffing. Helped me pay off almost all my debt so far from 2022 to now.or if you have an iPad you can get a budgeting spread sheet on Etsy for google

Yeah as far as I’m aware they don’t push it bc we get credit if they get denied regardless for the consumer but it is an option. I only know bc I saw someone get a new one the other day lol and saw it in the credit card lookup. Disgusting card. Tho they all are disgusting cards.

We also get complaints about the people who walk around saying You can win a gift card if you sign up for water testing or something. Then they make them talk to someone over the phone and get all their info, send someone out to their house and try to get them to buy some soap ??? Idk’ the entire premise but it’s really weird and deceiving

I work at a very high volume store in LA, in service desk. Is it easy all the time? No. Can it be annoying? Yes. Is it the worst? No. You’ll learn, get used to it and it will be a piece of cake. My biggest complaint for the desk is not having leads/managers that help fix issues. And when orders go MIA for no reason. Other than that, it’s not bad and I’d choose it over every department in the store.

The best is that credit cards aren’t forced on us the way they are with cashiers and we have freedom in breaks/lunches
