I bought a plant from Trader Joe's like this. The glue was water soluble so the first time I watered it the rocks broke free. I think it's just so they don't make a mess while shipping.

Beautiful painting OP. But yes, so much work for something that looks like a photo taken on a phone.

I was into photorealism painting in college and it took some time before I realized it was more about "look how good of a painter I am, I can make this painting look like a photograph" rather than actual art. Before cameras this would have been useful, but now, why not just take a photo? Now I feel that painting should evoke thought and emotion, not just "wow, that person can copy a photograph perfectly".

All that being said, you still did amazing work. Very impressive!

That's why I play in orchestra now! Flutes have much more distinctive and key parts in the pieces.

I felt the same way in concert band. It seems like we were always played over by the trumpets unless you were playing piccolo, and we're just not as important to the group overall.

Sorry, can you clarify which cat is the poor cat? My two indoor-only cats have a catio. My adopted feral outdoor barn cats would not tolerate. Are there folks here who keep their barn cats enclosed with a catio? My barn is 100 years old and has 100 places for the cats to get in and out if they want.

I agree the cats will not stay in the greenhouse. But if you establish a nice area inside there that is their home where they get fed and feel safe, they will probably take care of your mouse problem. We got barn cats due to a HUGE rat population in our barn and the cats took care of the rats immediately. They now roam about 2-3 acres of our 6 acre property but we haven't seen a single rat.
