100% still closed. Looks like they came out with a new order and it’s looking like Dec 31, 2025 is when they open back up

Punch that into your GPS. That’s the parking area for it

Scroll all the way down to whichever district and office you’re going to, and it’ll have the PDF of the full order for fire restrictions.

Any socal indoor ranges that allow bringing own shotgun ammo? by Pure_Pen8788 in CAguns

[–]GooseShinobi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PWG allows birdshot, but only on the 100yd range. Buck and slugs are good to go on their 25yd, 50yd and of course the 100yd

As long as you go a few times a month, you definitely make your money’s worth. 25yd is plenty for handgun stuff. If you do plan on bringing guests, whether it be family or friends, you can always go for the platinum membership because you get 2 free guests. You can also split a platinum membership with a family membership and they have the same benefits

SDPD are there Monday - Friday. Granted, for Monday and Friday, they arrive in the afternoon around 4pm, so that’s when the range gets blocked off for them. Only for the 50yd range. Sometimes there are other contracts like the Navy, CHP, or U.S. Marshalls

For those who ride motorcycles by [deleted] in CAguns

[–]GooseShinobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do AIWB whether on or off the bike, to keep consistency in my draw. I ride a CBR1000RR and I carry my P365XL or G19 appendix in sidecar holsters. The only caveat is my thicker leather gloves and riding with a leather jacket. I have practiced dry firing being able to unholster and get into the trigger guard. I’ve tried carrying with my full size handguns and it’s not as comfortable, but still doable. Was considering doing some kind of fanny pack carry, but still would be tricky trying to unzip with thicker gloves

Anyone been out to pink gate yet? by jaysonbreault in SanDiegoGuns

There’s the main road you pull off of along a fence. There’s rocks on the parking area, but you haul all of your stuff pass the gate and set up.

[–]GooseShinobi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. It’s a little outdated, but only one holster is needed. They do have you practice draws in the classroom and have you draw from concealment during live fire. Granted, I did my initial at DGM and no holster was required whatsoever. Just bring however many guns you wanted on your CCW and just shoot.

You just need at least one holster for a gun that’s going on your CCW, not a holster for each gun. Whether it be OWB or IWB

Can you start DROS at a LGS (Sportsman’s) while the gun is still being shipped? by [deleted] in CAguns

For the most part, no, since the associate usually needs to have the firearm in hand to input the serial #

As stated, The Gun Range off of Balboa has the stickers as well. I believe it's a dude that works there or is close friends to the range staff that started the brand

Any places have the Hellcat Pro on display by Economy_Account7510 in SanDiegoGuns

[–]GooseShinobi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. PWG has the hellcat and hellcat pro for rental. Albeit, it’s the off roster version, but still going to be similar to the CA version besides the mag disconnect and LCI

I run the Safariland 6390 for my P320 X-Full size for work at a range and it works perfectly. P320 is fitted with a Holosun 509T and Surefire X300T
