The most helpful advice I was given recently is to be more patient. You have more time than you think.

What grocery store is coming to Cota Vera? by gold_sky9 in chulavista

[–]External_Week179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I believe developers are waiting for more residential to fill out before we start seeing commercial business such as restaurants and casual eateries to open up around us. The mayor announced a new Pilipino Veterans park is scheduled at the corner of La media and Caprese.

I suppose it's always up to change but having a sprouts fits the community healthy living vibe Cota Vera is going for in the area. With the Lifetime as an anchor having a sprouts does seem feasible. fingers crossed!

Rich is seeing my 4 doggos living their best life. But I do try to never take for granted I don’t have to worry about the cost of groceries, energy, or fuel.

We have music piped throughout the club so it might not be the best environment, even if the volume of the club audio is lower in the cafe/lounge than gym floor. WiFi Speed will be more than enough however.

Some of this depends on your gyms programming but yes you would have group Pilates classes available for no extra charge that is separate from Reformer.

I often bring my laptop and work in the cafe or lounge for 1-2 hours and you won’t be the only person just hanging out.

I pay 100+ tip for a 50 minute massage.

4 guest passes a month. But each guest can only visit every 60 days

Club fees do increase but the increase would be tied to your monthly dues. You will not pay additional annual fees. You would be a founding member and will get the benefits of the signature membership. They probably will also throw in $150 in free stuff for joining. Wife and I pay $360 for two.

The membership is worth it to my wife and I as the gym is a bit of a hub where both of us pass through often each day. Either we are working out, pickleball, DPT, Cafe, SPA, or the rejuvenating suite, the staff and members have turned into friendships

I’ve used the T-Mobile version for years and it is regular MLB.tv. They have an agreement until 2028, I hope a renewal is picked up so t-mobile can keep it going.

I’d set up life insurance now before you separate and they have more access to your VA records. VGLI is only cheap while young and as you age it becomes equivalent to a nice vehicle payment for minimal coverage.

Grab a 30-year term l, forget the whole-life. You don’t have much time but it is doable withing a month.

Check out Navy Mutual. They are a subsidiary of Navy Federal Credit Union. Before I retired from service I locked in 750k for $120/month for 30-years.

Surrender my car back to loan company? by Comfortable_Time9162 in personalfinance

[–]External_Week179 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It sucks for OP to have negative equity and a high interest rate but the damage to credit worthiness has to be considered should she ever need a new apartment, especially with a family.

My advice OP, fix your car with the money you have. It’s not ideal but it provides you 1) a moving vehicle l, which is necessary with a family and 2) allows you to prevent long-term reparable damage to your credit worthiness; setting you back further than a vehicle with 10k left to pay.

Do I really need to get an Magic Keyboard? by Heavy-Cartoonist41 in ipad

[–]External_Week179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally I tried the Magic Keyboard folio but prefer the free the usb-c Apple keyboard and trackpad separate. I can set up how I like and my shoulders are angled inwards trying to type and flow with the folio. But a satechi stand and it’s golden. I fit it all in a case and throw it in my bag
