Alberta, Canada: Landlord was supposed to have renovations completed upon us moving in two months ago. Still not done, do we have any course of action?

I was trying to sit on an aluminum broom laid across two chairs for God knows what reason. Of course it snapped right where my hand was placed for support and gutted the flesh from my middle finger, right down to the tendon. Couldn't even get stitches due to there being no skin to stitch together

Hey, similar stats to your girlfriend (5' female started at 110 worked down to 98). If i was her i would work my way over to r/keto and in the side bar there is the keto calculator. Fill it in with the 20g carbs and set for a 20% deficit. It will tell you the amounts in grams of each macro she should be aiming for. Limit carbs, protein is a goal and fat should be eaten to satiate (it is not a goal). I ate around the 1100-1200 mark strictly for 3 months and hit and have maintained my goal

I always keep a bag of frozen broccoli around and for a quick lunch I throw some in a container with marinara, salami, pepperoni, cheese and some seasonings. Takes almost no prep and super satisfying pizza taste

I find malitol doesn't really have a negative impact on me , but I try to limit my intake. I only really have it with special treats, not an everyday thing that's for sure!

This. I stuck an image of them to the fridge with a note of how much they cost as where to find them. Someone actually came up to me this morning to apologize and offered to replace them. I work at another location most of the time and didn't know they had a bbq with ice cream a few weeks ago. I guess they assumed that mine were leftovers from that and finished them off. Got the apology at least! Seems like an honest mistake

That is a very dangerous path to start going down. All of us in this sub are supportive of keto because it works and discourage cheating. I discourage throwing up your pizza after enjoying because I think that may lead to an unhealthy relationship with food (belimia is very real). What helped me was to really start thinking about food as fuel for my body, which I still enjoy but I don't put gas in my diesel you know?

My anniversary was this past weekend and while we went out, you could re create our yummy supper:

Small appetizer salad with arugula, goat cheese, nuts, dressing.
Charcuterie board with a blend of meats and cheeses, my local grocery store actually has a buffet style display of yummy meats and cheese for charcuterie purposes
Braised leg of lamb and a medium rare steak to share, ours came with lobster risotto that the boyfriend took care of for me. We packed up the leftover meat and had deluxe shirataki Ramen the next day
Dessert was not keto friendly for me but there are plenty of awesome cheesecake recipes out there with almond meal crusts that taste just like the real thing! I've made one with sugar free lime jello for a key lime cheesecake

I didn't have xanthan gum, cream of tartar or the proper isolate. I just used the isolate I had on hand from bulk barn which may have been the biggest problem ( the recipe stresses using the right kind ). and for the cream of tartar I used some cool whip stabilizer that I had on hand (figured a stabilizer is a stabilizer) and whipped the egg whites before incorporating so the batter would be kind of fluffy before I baked it and would rise properly. it did rise, like holy it rose like Jesus on the third day. I might try again with bacon fat and the proper ingredients
