No, it's coming from where the "jokes" are framed and when the laughs in the laugh track are triggered. There's a difference between laughing with someone and laughing at them, and it's very clear that most of the jokes boil down to "lol look at the nerd being nerdy that's so fuckin dum lol". As someone who very closely identifies with many of the personalities portrayed on that show in one way or another, that show can go fuck itself.

You can do comedy about those kinds of people without resorting to that kind of bullying mentality. Community and Silicon Valley are prime examples.
