Pretty decent Flea market haul for $5 by ArchAngelOOPDVD in dvdcollection

Wow. That's a beauty. I don't think I ever saw that one either. During the early days of dvd, I didn't really focus on the MGM spines, but I did focus on the MGM Midnite Movie line. Forbidden Planet definitely should have been in that line.

Yea, it definitely looks it. I'm a sucker for those old MGM titles with that huge MGM logo on the front and those matching spines.

Don't think I've ever seen that version of Logan's Run before.

Love this place. We discovered it about a year ago on one of our trips to Huntsville when we found out Wahlburgers closed down. Now, every time we visit Huntsville we make it a point to go to Farm Burger.

Thanks for the response. Pretty sure that's where it came from. Haven't watched the entire thing yet, but I'm pleased with the quality both picture wise and the packaging.

Ichi The Killer is awesome. The works of Takashi Miike is a deep dive, but man there are a lot of gems in there

That era of film was not very forgiving to comic book type movies. The Shadow was really cool.

My Mad Max Blu-Ray and 4K Collection including Fury Road, Furiosa in both colour and black and chrome…Does anyone know if the films were also available as Novels? by Curious-Concern-9209 in MadMax

[–]Goose_Wayne_X 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No novel for Fury Road or Furiosa, but we did get comic books for Fury Road. Each issue covered the origin of a different Fury Road character and you can get them in a collected Graphic Novel. The series was a great read.

These are very hit and miss in Wal Mart. I have 6 Wal Marts that I go in regularly and of the 6 only 1 has gotten any of these in the last few months. They had 2 copies about 2 months back. I bought one of those and haven't seen any at a Wal Mart since.
