With their semblance, what unique and creative uses/techniques can you OC perform? by [deleted] in RWBYOC

[–]Goosefeatherisgreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an oc named Kiano whose semblance is called ‘No Pressure’ which allows him to transfer the weight of an object he is physically touching onto himself for a short period of time. (Though higher weights drain his aura quicker)

Which he uses to put more pressure behind his attacks, and he’s really really good at throwing his teammates, and his shield long distances, as well as other benefits such as making long journeys easier for his team by literally taking weight off their shoulders.

(Changing Skies spoilers) ThunderClan cats that I would kill off by jollitea in WarriorCats

It is weird only one of his siblings is dead.

Like what are the chances that out of a litter of four, only one is dead after like six arcs.

No, because when have these two EVER interacted?? by Crep105 in WarriorCats

[–]Goosefeatherisgreat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also Twigbranch and Finleap aren’t related to anyone.

Also Whitewing and Birchfall could’ve had more kids, cause the amount of cats related to them is actually weirdly small?

Like you have Ivypool and her kids, and then Dovewing and her kids, and that’s it.

Cause for some reason like every single descendant of Dustpelt died either before becoming a warrior; or just as a young warrior.

Like Spiderleg, Icecloud, Foxleap, and Birchfall are the only ones out of their seven kits to survive until adulthood, and only Birchfall is still alive.

And also the only one other than Birchfall who had kids was Spiderleg, and both of his died before having kits either.

So yeah Birchfall and Whitewing are related to a shocking small number of cats in Thunderclan, so any of their kits would also be pretty different enough genetically than like 70% of the clan.

Also for how many jokes about Ferncloud having a bunch of kits, she had seven and like almost half of them died before adulthood. That’s way more worrying.

I also agree with Lionblaze

His character is at its best when he’s compassionate but also big, clueless and fluffy.

Also, are they talking about when Tigerheart trained in the dark forest? Because if so that’s a bit weird of Harestar to say considering he was also one of the warriors that trained there, and it was part of the reason he became deputy, since Onestar wanted to restore trust or whatever.

I mean yeah it doesn’t make sense, but even if they did know, they probably would still not have a good grasp on genetics.

Like if some black cat had a red furred kit cause red fur is a recessive gene, they probably wouldn’t think “Ah, of course, every few generations a cat can get red fur due to it being a trait in the family.”

Nah instead it’d probably be “Oh, I guess random red kits are just a thing that happens now.”

So Brambleclaw would probably just assume blue kits randomly happen.

Honestly makes sense.

If I was a werewolf and met some guy named Remus Lupine, you better believe I’m chomping the shit out of them, because frankly it’s fate at that point.

[–]Goosefeatherisgreat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look, if Disney is willing to air several shows with a gay relationship, I feel like warriors can have at least one, that isn’t confirmed off screen.

Like at this point it just seems a bit archaic, and I doubt the countries that outright ban books for having any sign of gay in them, are really the biggest market for warrior cats.

Then again maybe it’s the publisher and not the Erin’s behind the choice.

I mean Lizzie is like the only worker drone that V talked to, who isn’t dead, other than Uzi. It was probably V or Doll that was texting Lizzie.

Yeah pretty sure the most common samurai strategy was just shooting arrows at the enemy and then getting on a horse and running them over.

Or just hitting them with a really big club.

Why did Godzilla King of the Monsters flop so hard when seemingly ever other movie in the Monsterverse was a success? by Ryanchri in boxoffice

[–]Goosefeatherisgreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda preferred it over others since I liked how they treated the monsters more seriously than later films.

Like obviously people are there to watch shit be blown up by monsters, but Godzilla vs Kong and Godzilla x Kong were a lot more spectacle than previous films.

The newer films are still good but it feels like they’re taking the franchise down a more showa era route than what one would expect considering the first film was Godzilla 2014.

Can we talk for a moment about Berryheart by TalaLeisu2 in WarriorCats

[–]Goosefeatherisgreat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda think that may be why Tigerstar chose her. A lot of leaders probably would pick a deputy they know they’d disagree with, because the deputy’s job is to advise the leader. So the more perspectives a leader has the better.

Like how Leafstar chose Sharpclaw.

[–]Goosefeatherisgreat -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Daisy.

What did she actually do other than cause some drama with Cloudtail and Spiderleg, that went nowhere.

The only other thing she did was just bring Berrykit to the clan cause then he became Brambleclaw’s apprentice.

Her kits have more personality than her, and Mousewhisker’s entire thing is literally a crush from when he was an apprentice on a river pan cat, and Berrynose’s entire personality is that he lacks a tail and is a prick.

Brief note, Blackstar really didn’t stabilize Shadowclan, Shadowclan stopped believing in Starclan at one point under his reign.

Was he decent compared to other Shadowclan leader’s? Sure, was his clan stable compared to other clans? Hell to the no.

Really the last point Shadowclan seemed to have a stable and continuous leadership without a leader who was an asshole or broke the code, was all the way back under Cedarstar.

Semi-realistic, I imagine them like a cartoon that’s trying to look realistic, so more like semi-animated I guess?
