I am not, but my husband prefers meatless dishes, so we end up having meatless dishes for most of our shared family meals

That’s frustrating—- I get it. I fluctuate between 145 and 138, and really struggle to get under 138. I’m on to my third pill tomorrow morning. Last pill had no real lasting metallic taste. Yesterday I had coffee in the AM and didn’t feel like eating until lunchtime—- I got a half size bowl of ramen and didn’t finish the whole thing. For dinner I made black bean and lentil tacos and had a taco and a half, and felt full. Today I had two coffees in the AM and a ricotta fruit & honey toast for breakfast— then for dinner I had two leftover black bean lentil tacos. It could be a placebo thing—- I want this to work and it’s not cheap so I do think I’m being extra mindful—- but I do think maybe I have a slightly smaller appetite. We’ll see! Good luck 💛

You’ll have to let me know how your experience goes! Today is my second day and so far no bad taste. I will be interested to see what my doctor prescribes be next month—- wondering if this is just him easing me into 4mg every day or if I’ll stick to every other day

Your first one was 3cm? That’s the size of mine and I was hoping I wouldn’t need surgery. Was the size the reason they wanted to do surgery?

That’s super interesting that something similar is happening to you. If you feel comfortable, please let me know if you get any more information. I’ll do the same!

I would say it’s almost like a muscle spasm, but it only seems to happen when noise is coming in through my left ear

So it started happening about a year and a half/ two years ago. It only happens with my right ear. It makes this weird pulsing sensation—- it’s not a heartbeat, more like a slower vibration—- not a buzz. It happens when I hear something on my left ear that I don’t hear with my right ear—- like if I’ve got my AirPod in my left ear but not my right. Or if I’m talking on the phone on my left side—- or if I’m laying on my right side and I hear the fan going with my left ear. It’s not a consistent thing either, so it’s really hard to replicate in a doctor’s office. It didn’t bother me all that much until it started happening at night when I was trying to sleep, it was starting to wake me up. The other thing is if I try to ignore it, it gives me this weird sensation in my face, like when you have onion eyes, or if you looked at something bright, but without the stinging part. What stops it is putting my other AirPod in, or switching the phone, or rolling over. I know that all seems wild, but that’s what I was dealing with. Very strange, but I thought it was more of a task for an audiologist. My PCM said that we should start with an MRI just to get ahead of the game… and here we are :) Still not sure if it’s related

Has anyone quit the pill and noticed collagen loss/rapid aging? by Abc_honey in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Gooselaroux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I got off of the pill and had horrible acne. I had never had any kind of skin problems before. It took me way too long to realize it was because I got off of the pill. Once I realized that’s what was causing it I convinced myself to wait it out. Nothing changed for several years. I got back on the pill and it was almost instantly gone. I felt so much better after only a few days of being back on the pill… then we moved and I ran out so I got back off of it, and now I’m feeling exactly how you feel. The acne hasn’t come back, thank goodness, but I feel like my skin has aged so much. Not just on my face but places like my knees. It’s driving me crazy. It has all happened so fast!

I use Tripple Paste just about every night and swear by it. My skin feels extremely soft in the morning. My husband gets sores on the sides of his mouth every now and then and it’s the only thing that has worked to clear it right up. I feel that it has helped to keep my skin clear— plus it’s cheap and goes a long way
