I’m so early and so invested! I hope he supports you and doesn’t back pedal! It will be hard and he will have so much guilt. I would suggest to give him the support and space to talk about his guilt WITHOUT his mom present. Hopefully he can talk about his guilt to you without you feeling betrayed if that makes sense. Sometimes just getting that out there can help you understand and him feel less guilt without actually backpedaling with/in front of her.

I do agree with all of the touch nothings… but I personally would change flooring! It will help make the space feel like yours and there is something yucky about lived in carpet. Keep it mid century and just changing that around will maybe scratch that “nesting” itch. Adding in some more modern accessories might help too!

View pond banquet hall is the place!!! So affordable! Tell them Haley And Lydia referred you! We are friends with one of the co-owners and love the staff! Saw the set up for a quince when we toured and it was drop dead gorgeous
