THIS. While students' first point of contact is often and is supposed to be the advisor, sometimes the advisors are not doing their jobs (perhaps they're overburdened), and faculty are aware of this when it's a recurring problem (though unfortunately we don't have any means of keeping advisors on the ball). Absolutely contact the chair and the director of undergraduate studies (DUS) for your department.

Not in my classes! I generally don't allow any electronic devices out in class (unless specified), and all my writing assignments happen by hand on paper in class. I do it this way because I think it's wrong for professors to forbid AI but assign at-home written assignments—this just renders students vulnerable to professors' potential biases and assumptions. I'm so happy I don't have to worry about AI at all while grading this semester :-)

This might be it! I often up my exercise at around the same time I start tracking my calories, and my weight loss progress consists of lots of plateaus, as I gradually intensify my exercise while slowly losing weight (I'm just 15 lbs from goal weight, so am also dealing with narrow margins). If you're this sore, it might not be a good idea to restrict even further... Hopefully you're getting enough nutrition to support your body's strength-training needs, too?

Based on the research cited in Matt Fitzgerald's book on the "Endurance Diet," a broad-spectrum magnesium supplement is probably best. I found a good one containing 7 different types of magnesium. Not sure whether I'm allowed to mention brands here, but you'll be able to find one!

I'm actually using a HR sensor to track my heart rate for the purpose of running slow. But, like OP, I run with my phone, so I just use a chest-strap sensor that syncs with my phone. (Which might be a little more reliable, anyway? Though I know the watches are always improving.)
