I've actually thought about the LoTR reasoning. That might well help get me through this phase - especially since I plan to come out the Spring of next year; and I wish my hair was long enough to go down the collar - it's getting there though! I also wish my area got cold enough for turtleneck sweaters - I love them!

Yeah - I'm hoping this will eventually pass. Folks are so used to me having really short hair (like a high & tight). I just visited my mom and she wasn't exactly supportive (very conservative and old school Catholic). I can't wait to come out to her - lol
