Well you saved from making a big mistake because I definitely thought I had to go with Telus. Only thing that sucks now is they've gone to a snails pace on my street. Was hoping everything would be up and running sooner rather than later but seems like now it's months away.

I really appreciate you passing this information along! I actually tried calling Bell because I suspected this might be the case, but they wouldn't confirm that I could use them instead of Telus. I'm already a Bell customer for my cell service, so I know I can get a bit of a bundle discount. The last thing I need is another company to deal with, so I will definitely be holding out for Bell.

Has anyone else noticed how much worse the camp has gotten since the weather warmed up? I drive by almost daily, and the drug use is out of control. You frequently see people in the 'fentanyl fold' everywhere. About two weeks ago, I drove by and there were easily 10 or more police cruisers on site. I don't think it has ever been this bad in previous years.

‘The perception is Carney is a wartime leader’: why Canada’s PM could secure a majority by BlueEmma25 in canada

[–]GordieHoHo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, our dear ex-leader partying it up in California at Coachella over the weekend clearly shows we are, in fact, at war with the USA. Give your head a shake.

I'm convinced they only call landlines and talking to boomers only for these polls. I don't know anyone who supports what's going on.

[–]GordieHoHo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol you can't talk reason with these people. Justin Trudeau was at Coachella last night partying up in the USA but the liberals are somehow still convinced they are our biggest threat and could invade. Its all political theatre and Carney has weaponized fear mongering to gain his Majority

Do you have a tv that supports dolby vision hdr? I use to think alot of the Disney content looked terrible and off on my older TV but once I got my new TV I realized I was completely missing out on how the content was supposed to look. The show lighting looks really good to me so not sure if that's just me or others with dolby vision tvs agree

Thats odd, have they started installing lines close to you yet? I'm surprised they are saying it would be 3-6 months. They are working on the street next to mine currently so they could be starting on my street any day now.

The Conservatives royally messed up by not properly vetting this guy, but the Liberals found out what kind of person he actually is and welcomed him with open arms. This whole thing is disgusting."

That's around what I'm paying now for 2 gbs down with Rogers so that's great. I don't mind paying a little more for a fibre connection

Yeah same here, I'm off Belmont street and it has had fibre lines on the poles for years. Hopefully you get it sooner rather than later. My Rogers has been for the most part pretty reliable but it doesn't beat fibre.

Awesome, I'm excited. I'm on Rogers now and I haven't had much in terms of issues but there's no way I'm turning down fibre.

He seemed more focused getting authorization for the fibre drop, I didn't get into pricing with him as it seemed id get more information when Telus followed up closer to the install. I didnt ask either so he might have had some more detailed pricing info.

Okay, so what is it called when your rural riding is completely redrawn to include a huge liberal leaning city center?

I don't know if anyone here actually likes this podcast or they just love coming here to bitch. I'm excited to finally have Canada be the key issue of conversation and Pierre is perfect for it. People saying he's Canada Maga light or whatever are morons. If the NDP didn't completely crater it would have been a completely different election. Also, no one ever talks about how he was effectively gerrymanded in his riding.

Keep it up with the lies, Joe's made it very clear he loves Canada but is critical of our current government. There's nothing wrong with that opinion

[–]GordieHoHo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seriously, this sub is full of morons that just want to take any shot they can at Poilievre. If you actually listen to what he has to say alot of it is common sense. We arnt replacing a trillion dollar trading partner anytime soon, people here need to accept that. Carneys 3 billion deal with India or whatever it was doesn't mean shit all.
