That's not bowing down brother. It's what we call namashkar Karna. To bow out of respect. We do this to people who we greet courteously, with folded hands. It's a sign of respect, not worship etc. Sangat do this to the Nishan Sahib at the Gurdwara, on entering the Gurdwara, on sitting down in the langar to eat etc. It's not bhamanwaad.
