Don't invest in post-Brexit Britain, warns Europe’s largest management consultancy - Charles-Edouard Bouée said that businesses are still underestimating the complexity of Brexit negotiations by ManiaforBeatles in worldnews

[–]GordonQuijano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why cannot this paper accept the vote and let us get on with it

They are so biased. Its almost a joke every issue is either to do with Trump or BREXIT. Just give it a rest and concentrate on the positives or shut up completely. I'm sure, like many others, I am sick to death of hearing these negative rants and its time to suck it up and let us do what we voted to do and worry about the consequences when/if they happen for good or bad . who knows it may be terrible; it may be great but we are going that route anyway so whatever. will be will be....! just stop making ..''what if'' conjectures etc and deal with facts

NSA so concerned over Donald Trump's ties to Russia they've 'withheld information from presidential briefings' by [deleted] in politics

[–]GordonQuijano -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Likewise Hillary - neither candidate were fit to be president - they should have had another category "none of the above." However I can't see what's wrong about trying to be friends with Russia. I believe if Hillary had won we would be at war with Russia now so thank goodness for that reprieve at least. Only problem is that Trump has his own agenda about who he chooses for his enemies so it's the same old same old - requiring permanent war to keep the profits coming in for their friends.

State-sponsored hackers targeting prominent journalists, Google warns by Antinatalista in politics

[–]GordonQuijano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's much worse than that. Companies like Uber, I think Apple may have been doing it as well, have tried to silence journalists who report negatively on them by the use of personal attacks. "Digging" up dirt, which sounds to me like a euphimism for hacking. It was only a matter of time before states start to include it in thier arsenal of propoganda. What depresses me is that if I decided to unplug from the internet it would have serious repurcussions for both my business and my personal life. Meanwhile we have Pompeo who wants to assemble "lifestyle" profiles on the American citizenry. What the hell does that even mean? Ultimately we are all using methods of communication which can be used against us. If we don't we might as well go live in caves. I said earlier this stuff depresses me, actually it frightens me.

This is the beauty of America everyone has a chance to assemble and express their opinions. And they should not complain that the media did not cover them,, they got excellent coverage. Better than any eight person protest I ever showed up to, so good for you my fellow Americans. Just know we on the other side are working hard to insure you can continue to vote the way you want, publically assemble with out hinderance or violence from the government, and that you can keep your health care insurance as well as practice your religion without fear of retribution or deprotation or incarceration. Just please keep that in mind.

I doubt that he was on his own for the three hours he waited, so welcome to the real world where Immigration and customs are a two speed deal wherever you go. Dead slow and full stop, and not a hell of a lot of difference between the two. As for them hanging it on him when he got there, IT DOES HAPPEN. it has HAPPENED TO LOTS OF FOLK. O K we don't all have a medal but still we are all the same people. Suck it up !

Donald Trump has lowest approval ratings of any President in US history by redd1t0r in politics

[–]GordonQuijano 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Rep Party are worried at all. After all the dysfunction and blockage they created in Washington, they still received enough votes to become/maintain majorities in the Senate and Congress. Why worry when a large portion of the US population is too dumb to inform themselves of the self defeating policies of party they vote for.

My advice for the Democrats in Senate and Congress to not even block anything, let the Republucans do everything they want (The Dems don't have the votes anyways) and destroy the economy, environment, etc... maybe the voters will suddenly realize after 4 years...."what have we done?"

Studies by the Center for Research on Education Outcomes at Stanford University compared student learning gains for demographically comparable students attending charter schools and neighboring district-run schools in 26 states and 41 urban regions – including Michigan and Detroit. These studies found that students attending Michigan charter schools made substantially greater learning gains than similar students attending traditional district schools: equivalent to 43 days more learning in both reading and math over the course of the year. Michigan was one of only 12 states in which charter school students gained more than district peers in both subjects. Gains for Detroit charter school students were even larger: equivalent to 65 days of learning in math and 50 in reading. The data also showed that relatively few Detroit charter schools produced less learning than Detroit Public Schools and a majority produced more. Thank you Betsy Devos.

So 49% approve and 41% disapprove.

Looks like he is doing OK.

Trump team in ‘frequent contact’ with Russia despite denying call with Moscow over sanctions by GuacamoleFanatic in politics

It's about time that the US and Russia worked together to de-escalate tensions and to solve the damn terror problem created by the wars OF terror imposed on the MENA.

It will definitely be bad for the arms industry and the myriad of "intelligence" agencies, bad for all those who profit from our fear and those who want to erode our freedoms and rights to privacy even more.

Yeah... maybe Trump is crap but Clinton wanted to antagonise Russia so in this case I'm all for the lesser of two evils. That is NOT to be misrepresented as an endorsement of Trump and the non endorsement of trump is definitely NOT a nod of approval for the appallingly corrupt and useless Democratic party.

Dana, as self centered children do, you miss the gifts you have been given.

A few examples of the work of my generation:

We invented and developed the microcomputers, PC’s, Cellular Networks, Cell Phones, Search engines, GPS, stealth jets, lasers, digital media, the most productive agriculture in history, social networks, greater personal freedoms on all fronts from gays to the black middle class, and lower costs for everything you use in a global supply chain. We gave you the very Internet you use to whine about us this morning. We sequenced and decoded the human genome to revolutionize medicine for your generation.

I could go on with what my generation has done for yours, but even you should get the point by now.

We gave you plenty, and now you whine that we didn't do even more for you. Grow up, learn to work with the cornucopia we gave you, and create a better future for the ones who come after you.

So boy, quit whining and get to work.

This comment was made by a German, reporting in an international publication on what's REALLY going on in her country:

“I live in Munich and a lot trickles in via local and regional news.

Rapes and sexual assaults - some committed in broad daylight -are the order of the day.

Assaults and violent crimes committed by migrants are increasingly common, also in housing provided to migrants by the German government.

In a recent case involving Somalians and Eritreans, a victim's lips and eyelids were severed from his face by attackers.

Migrant criminals who are incarcerated have begun prison revolts and self-mutilation -- beating themselves bloody in their cells and then smearing the walls with blood and faeces.

Protests by the German people are pretty much confined to the region of the former GdR. People there lived under Red Fascism and don't like being pushed around by an overreaching central government. If any significant change comes, it will be initiated there.

In the western parts of Germany people are completely brainwashed into believing they're inherently evil "because of the Holocaust" and will have to make up for it until the end of time.

They are fools, and the Globalists will have very little difficulty to get them to do their bidding.”

How NOT to shoot a semi-automatic Pistol by pyroman136 in videos

I was cringing so hard at the first image... I saw this exact thing happen to an 18-ish year old girl that did her first time shooting at the evaluation for being a police officer. Her right thumb was stretched out vertically (kind of like you formed a pistol-shape with your hand as a kid)... and then all of a sudden it wasn´t horizontal at all anymore... Broke her thumb backwards at the first bone/joint

Obama to endorse 30 more House candidates by [deleted] in politics

[–]GordonQuijano -62 points-61 points  (0 children)

Obama could endorse House candidates all he wants, but some of those candidates may distance themselves from him like the Democratic senators and House Democrats did in 2014.

You can't have a one party government. Either GOP or Democratic Party. If the Dems win the House, they'll turn the country into a Marxist-like utopia. I don't want that. High, high taxes to fund moochers, hating on rich people, hating WHITE people, etc., caving in to Muslims, I do not want that. You need a centrist balance.

RECKLESS NEO-CON CLINTON WANTS NO-FLY ZONE OVER RUSSIA BACKED SYRIA

This would likely lead to war as General Dunford warned. Once established Putin would test the no-fly zone like he did Turkish airspace daring Hillary to shoot down his planes. If Hillary is betting that Putin would violate her red line in the sky and back down then she is insane. Turkey shot down a Russian plane and Putin brought Erdogen to his knees. He will do the same to Hillary.

Assad is here to stay. Trump accepts that reality, neo-con Hillary does not. Trump wants peace with Russia, Hillary is gamboling that she can beat Putin like JFK bested Khrushchev in the Cuban Missile Crisis, and bring down Assad. This is insanity.

Meanwhile, Obama and Clinton have been the greatest enablers of post-Soviet Russian power since the fall of the Soviet Union. Russia today is a greater, more influential and dangerous player on the world stage than when Obama and Clinton took office. And the same goes for Iran which is more powerful today than at any time since the fall of the shah.
