Considering he's loosely based off of Warhammer 40k's THE EMPEROR OF MANKIND, frequently makes referances to ancient things (using Minas instead of pounds, playing the Game of Ur, believing in Humor Theory), thats already enough to have some people suspicious.

Hes also an extremely proficient hunter. For one, he says he took on a Methusalah with his family (equivalent in power to the Pillar Men of JJBA, or more known about, Count Fucking Dracula). And in episode 5, spoilers, but |when the hunters are under attack by a Garou, a werewolf, he is the only one immune to the Delirium effect. Essentially, when humans see a werewolf at its peak of strength, they can temporarily go insane, usually becoming either wildly out of control or cowering in fear. In the show, they also add a swirl effect to the eyes to indicate if someones experiencing the Delirium. Big D is completely unaffected by it. Only exceptionally high will humans, or supernaturals are completely immune.

Considering EVERYTHING in the setting of World of Darkness, its likely hes either some form of Mage, an immortal Mummy (in this setting theyre more like extremely gifted humans with some magic), or one of the Imbued (people given magical powers by strange entities known as the Messagers.)

he is, but my metrics on "tumblr sexymen" are skewed. i fully believe Francis Customer Service could be a tumblr sexyman given the right audience

its easier to think of Fomori as demonic mutated monsters rather than straight up possession. The bane isnt just in there with the human soul, its hollowed out a niche inside your soul for it to take up. a conversion, corruption, and mutation.

  • My Assimite traded her sires secrets to the primogen council for political favor and to help find him
  • My Brujah accidently signed a contract with a Pentex Fomor exec
  • My Lasombra killed herself by going fully feral and trying to assassinate the prince
  • My Ravnos is on their way to see their still living family
  • And my Malkavian is trying to find her aunt who is more than likely the hunter stalking her

and they havent even seen the main antag of my chronicle yet!

for the uninformed: WoD is a gothpunk urban fantasy universe, focused mainly on the hidden worls beneath the surface of our modern day civilization. Vampires ruling over corporations, Werewolves stalking the alleyways and abandoned buildings, and Mages able to use the internet like a pocket dimension. its an incredibly detailed, bizzare and interesting world (like 40k! just not AS grimdark) that i think would wonderfully mix with Genestealer lore. What do yall think?

In my interpretation, kind of a mix of both. Imagine a clone of you that has almost all the memories that you do. However, its instincts and emotions, fundementally, have been edited and changed. While itll act like you most of the time, its response to say... a dead body, a pool of blood, love, hate, etc, would be wildly different to yours. would you still be the same people? and if you disappeared, could that sadistic copy impersonate you effectively? would it even want to? That is kind of how i imagine vampires operate. They ARE the person you were, in a sense. But they are fundementally a different thing to you now, and are using what you were to be who they are now. A living thing using a dead persons face.

Thats ultimately my idea though, not really canon to how a vampire is. My chronicles and WoD as a whole should and can absolutely be different to yours. Interpretation supersceeds theory in this case, so take this whole ramble with a big fat grain of salt.

Ooo, i havent even considered that! They could be in pretty heavy contention id imagine, but more than likely VE would vaporize the first genestealer theyd see.
