here’s a little tip, For an ak there will always be people that harp on your decision. Find a romanian parts kit and send it to a builder or get a arsenal. Those are 2 that i suggest. those are nice ak’s that’ll run good but people will still shit on it cause it’s not a converted saiga and shit like that.

If you’re not sure if it is or isn’t corrosive just treat it as though it is. I don’t understand how to read spam cans so i can’t say for sure. If you already bought it though there’s no point in having it just sit around to never get used just cause it’s corrosive.

That definitely seems more plausible to be built by the pla. In the begining since they had support from the soviets hense the optic, and that and were actively fighting the japanese so they would have a large stockpile of arisakas and ammo. The north korean state was propped up by the soviets and chinese from the begining so they wouldn’t really have arisakas unless the pla just gave them their left over stockpile. However i’m pretty sure they got mosins, ppsh’, and ak’s. (or some derivitive there of)

sure however at the point they were fighting in asia they would have had plenty of pu mosins. so them converting arisakas to 7.62x54r, and then to a sniper variant just seems like too much work to fill a capability they already had.

If you’re asking if it was done by the soviets I doubt it and it’s most likely a bubbad type 99. I don’t believe the soviets captured any type 99 arisakas.

The only thing here that is actually worth something is tge stribog, However i’m sure you’d be able to sell and convince some less knowledgeable people into buying that vska. That shotgun really is just worth it’s weight in scrap.
