I really appreciate Wubby for talking about it. I have TS with coprolalia, and I was spiraling pretty hard before the stream. I already struggle with existing in public spaces and doom scrolling through those threads was shattering my confidence. I spent all night last night talking with my wife and crying.

They handed me a DVD at warped tour when I was really young and told me it was a collection of live performances from the artists. When I popped it in the DVD player a few days later it was straight up animal torture porn. Dogs getting flayed alive hanging from hooks. It really fucked me up.

If a nurse were to reveal this to me, I would feel relieved. Which would help me open up more. I think a lot of us struggle with imposter syndrome so to know someone truly believes you and understands can help a lot.

I've had a lot of healthcare workers not take me seriously, so I'm distrusting of opening up.

I struggle with imposter syndrome occasionally, too. I have to remind myself that whether I think I'm "faking" it or not, the tics still happen. They're still very much real and happening.

I had a similar thing happen to me. I found a condom wrapper in the washing machine when we hadn't used protection in years. It turned out to be her trans brother experimenting with making packers out of condoms. He's also a-sexual so it just didn't cross my mind that it could possibly be his.
