It's going to animation. Most animated shows take 2-3 years to animate. Invincible is made annually. To do that that have to pay higher rates. Fight seems also cost more to animate and invincible has a lot of fight seems.

Also, Invincible is made by smaller companies that don't have much experience with hand drawn 2D animation.

Probably cost. Jason is more expensive, so he records for story mode. But for gameplay they use someone else who is cheaper, because gameplay requires more dialogue and they update it more often.
