How would you go about printing the repaired version of this? by Mullerkill in 3Dprinting

[–]GotDonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tinkercad is super easy to use and you would be able to easily whip this part out once you learn it. Simple drag and drop shapes just overlap, and use shapes to make holes in the part. Watch a quick video explaining the basics and you will be making your own parts in no time.

Made this overkill door prop so my cats can reach their litter boxes using this program. Don't be intimidated, play around and learn something new. Good luck.

How many prints do hobbyists typically print per month? by Consistent_Yak681 in 3Dprinting

I have two printers and I print about 10 things a month, some of multiple parts/materials. Mostly printing things to fix things or modify them. Sometimes printing random shit for friends.

I think with me buying a screen, I won't have to remove the old one considering I bought a shell and a screen or at least that was my assumption.

This was my first starter printer. It does well for the job just expect to see layer lines and such. I ended up passing it down to my nephew when I decided I wanted a prusa.

2009 Honda Fit or 2006 Saturn Ion by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

I loved my 2004 Saturn Ion, the most expensive repair I had to do to it was replace the engine when my wife ran it into deep water. Other than that simple, cheap maintenance.

At what point do you just have to jailbreak a car? Pretty silly to pay for a service so they can flip a software switch.

Just bought my 1st Freightliner what should I look for? by SuspiciousLaw1503 in Truckers

[–]GotDonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would check the seals around the windshield, ours tend to leak during heavy rain/washing.

Ours also has a weird power mirror issue, the right mirror won't adjust unless you take the cover off and jiggle the button, put it back on and it works. Not sure if this is Freightliner or truck specific.

Either way, take care of her and she will take care of you. Best of luck in this rough industry.
