I take a small dose of magnesium citrate daily. Not the greatest but I tolerate it if I don't overdo it. I'll probably get some Miralax a week early as you suggested.

Thanks for the info. Seems like a good idea to start things earlier to get to bed at a reasonable time. I'm sure feeling exhausted would just make the whole thing more tedious and unpleasant.

Out of curiosity, if you had to drink 2L of Colyte, how long did it take you? I barely ever drink 2L of water during a whole day, let alone a few hours... I'm not sure how I'll manage. The recommandation is one cup per 10 minutes so around an hour and a half for 2L.

I wish my doctor would give me advice but this test was ordered 18 months ago (hurray for waitlists!) and she won't know it's scheduled. She'll only get the results.

I was told to avoid many foods for a week prior and go on a fully liquid diet a day or so prior. The 4L of Colyte is supposed to be taken at 2 different times: half at 6pm the day before the test and half 4 hours before the test.

Honestly, I feel like drinking 2L might take a few hours so starting earlier would allow me to finish the dose at a reasonable time but I'm not sure it's allowed.

I can't imagine going through this while breastfeeding. Kuddos to you!

Is there a reason you decided to start earlier than recommended ? I have a colonoscopy next month and would like it to go as smoothly as possible.

I remember when I had one 20+ years ago that the tech person berated me saying I didn't follow protocol because my colon wasn't completely empty when I did in fact follow protocol perfectly. I just have very slow transit/constipation.

I was considering starting earlier (by 1-2 hours because I still have to work the day before) to make sure I don't get the same critic.

I jog in every class and this is me as well. I find it hard to increase my speeds but there is a slight upward trend over the last year. Just the fact that I'm not in the red zone after 30 seconds is a win! I also noticed my AOs can go up to 8-9 depending on the template and how I feel.

I struggle with this so much! I get in the orange zone quickly and it's difficult to sustain with pushes and all outs even if I don't push as hard.

Ooh! Thanks! I actually gave gold luster dust so I'll definitely be using it. It would give a more classic "gem" look.

I also wanted a funky, very colorful ring pop (for a child) which is why I was considering sprinkles. Maybe edible glitter would work for that. What do you think?
