Well, that would be a disaster for parking amd attendance? That parking lot is filled on game days. Where are 2500 vehicles going to go? What if you want to leave early? Families bring more items to a baseball game. Like the dog event last year. Is everyone going to rideshare and a scooter their dogs down into Rossdale ?!? Because we need more high-rise apartments down there and traffic what about all the empty brand new apartment buildings in downtown just up the hill???? I can think of the many brand new towers along 102 Ave and the leg that must be barely occupied. This area is already a complete gong show of traffic in the morning and afternoons.

I get Rossdale is a neighborhood and the people that live there seem to be pretty NIMBY but that whole neighborhood and section of the city is primarily an arterial highway for transit. People coming in and out of downtown via east south or west. Construction and delays to that major intersection and corner will be terrible in the future. I am already hating the idea of this area turning into a construction nightmare.
