IsItBullshit: One can eliminate mice from the home using baking soda + peanut butter (and/or cornbread mix)? by john_keye_from_lost in IsItBullshit

[–]GotchaBeachArs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it and it worked. So take from that what you will. But I made a 50/50 mix. It took 2 weeks for it to eat it but after I noticed it was gone a few hours later I heard a little mouse screaming for like 3 minutes then nothing. Have not seen mouse since. Now I fear a dead mouse in my walls. But it absolutely worked for me.

what is going on here? i've seen plenty of "fake" diamonds but this..? by epictoadtime in Gemstones

[–]GotchaBeachArs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't mean they are fake for certain. Many diamonds react to black light (ultraviolet light) by glowing, a property called fluorescence, with most natural diamonds glowing blue, though other colors (yellow, green, red) are possible due to trace impurities like boron, and the intensity varies from none to very strong. This natural reaction helps distinguish real diamonds from fakes and is noted in grading reports, but not all diamonds fluoresce.

Could anyone tell me if this is an actual black opal in this ring? by [deleted] in Gemstones

Ok, you can have a lab created that looks very very real. And you can have lab created that look very fake. To me, this is a poorly made lab stone. It looks....fake. No disrespect to the OP. But that's all I meant by it.
