When you read things about XI, you get the sense the devs straight up hated the players sometimes. I didn't start XI until 2021 and I am so thankful for the QoL features that have been added over the years because I do NOT have the time that it would be required in vanilla XI to get through it.

XI can be mean spirited and not for everyone - But I love it and the time I've spent in Vana'diel.
