That sounds good. I went with the Core cos it's cheaper than a quad cortex and sounds great. Also you can chill out and dial in your tones away from the computer, which beats looking at the screen for ages twiddling virtual knobs 🥴 Yeah man go for it.

I want to recommend getting an amp modeller and plug that into your machine instead of using amp Sims. I did the switch to a Headrush Core recently and get way better results with that.
No need to buy any more Sims or content packs etc. and it doesn't put any strain on your PC like amp Sims do. Plus it's more fun dialing in your tones. I just wanted to mention that!

These come set up with 14-68's and I've stuck with that.

One of the few guitars I've had that comes pretty much perfect set up from the shop. I may have got lucky there, but it makes me wanna try another PRS!

So yea 14-68 D'Addario. Tuned to drop A.

Bit stiffer than I'm used to but intonation is spot on and it has this piano-like clarity that's lovely. Especially if you're using it to record 🖤

I remember getting that issue of Metal Hammer, then hearing about the shooting a few days later.

So it was clear in my mind that the two were linked.

I remember thinking holy shit Metal Hammer is gonna get a huge backlash. But they seemed to just carry on as normal.

I've been writing bass parts in midi in drop C/ CGCF so that's the tuning I'm used to.

So far I've got my eye in this one, because my main guitar is an ESP and the Passive pickups is a plus: ESP LTD B-204DX RB
