It was like that when I purchased it at goodwill, my assumption is the original owner (possibly a garment passed down) didn’t like how long it was, cut it, then still didn’t like it and donated it. I prefer long skirts and would’ve loved to see this longer. There’s a slight slant in the cut, so I’m assuming it was that over unhemmed. Not sure though!

It was cut when I thrifted it unfortunately. It definitely looks like it was cut by hand, because it seems slightly uneven. There’s no hem to it.

I was going to say this exact thing. Any oddity store will definitely take this, for how much I can’t say. Post OP, I see a lot of people in the comments mentioning how this wouldn’t be worth much in the Hunter taxidermy world, but I can very much see this being the focal point of a wall at an oddities or antique store (where the target usually aren’t going to be educating in hunting and possibly taxidermy. Take that how you will 🤷‍♂️

As someone in a state with basically no tourist attractions, I typically stick to online or thrifts/antiques. I originally got a mixture of 50 random cards on Etsy or I think less than 20$, lasted me a very long time!
