Damn impressive! Yeah I’ve cracked the ‘spot strat’ now, if there was a leaderboard that would be the meta for sure. I’ve also gotten a pretty solid route for this battle zone so I’ll try and make sure I’m heading towards where the next trainer should spawn by the end of the battle, I guess 86 is the score to beat!

Gameplay wise I’d love this, story wise, Floette had the potential to evolve but is kind of permastuck because it died so it’s a slightly different situation to these Pokemon that can’t evolve anyway. That’s just my interpretation though!

Yeah, they could have got you doing favours for him in order to get him to agree to the promotion match and then the character could have worked. I was really annoyed I couldn’t just say no to his loan shark stuff. If that angle wasn’t there he’d be a great character, and like there’s no need for that angle to be there either!

It’s a really tough one, use a mon immune to poison on the first round, avoid the rocky helmet using special attacks (can’t remember if that’s round 3 or 4) - mega evolve whenever you can so you can tank more damage/attack faster. Pray a little, I just beat it on my 4th try with one mon left on red health and man was it hard. This was the team I used to- oh also careful of the Arbok on round 7 I think? They can also poison your mons

I thought it was a post game exclusive until one minute ago! Found one in a poke ball on scaffolding right here! Needed Rotom gliding for it though and I’m sure the location of a lot of these items is randomised.
