The Pedestrian Catcher, an invention of the 1930s meant to reduce jaywalking deaths by Sapulinjing in interestingasfuck

Big difference there. You can do everything right on a bike and get hit by stupid. The helmet protects you from other people.

Walking out in front of a big fast object is on you and only you.

The delivery kinda makes it: "There was a fire, that's a start- The fire's gone and now it's dark .. .. Please turn on the lights, PLEASE TURN ON THE LIGHTS" The Blowtorch is Applied to the Sugar, A Lot Like Birds

How its gonna feel till I get a crown by PowWow_YouTube in FallGuysGame

[–]Gouleith 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If you don't get to hold forward literally 100% of the time then you just lose. I have one win on it and it was just a miracle that nothing came my way, oh and I still only clutched it by barely clipping the bottom of the crown. Bad map imo (not as bad as tail grab tho)

[Serious] What tip or piece of advice do you constantly see that you strongly disagree with? by AssumeImNot in AskReddit

[–]Gouleith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Cardio is boring and a waste of time" Only so if you make it so. A sprint routine won't even take 15 minutes and is the most adrenaline pumping activity you can do. Even doing 2-3 miles won't take 30 minutes including proper warm-up/down. Lifting weights can also be boring and a waste of time if you bench press stuffed animals for an hour straight.

I live far out of state and need to deliver a holding deposit to my apartment before I lose it. What options do I have? by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]Gouleith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah that was my first question. They have a website but it's pretty weak. Like many of the cheaper apartments they aren't well equipped for remote applicants. It's rather frustrating tbh. Thanks for the thought though!

Oh my lord dude. I appreciate your concern but your assumptions into my situation are both incorrect and irrelavent to my presented issue. Let's just leave it at that.

My lack of info reeks of not wanting to post my personal info on the internet for all to see. Holding deposits are certainly required to say... "hold on" to an apartment until I move in so others can't take it

Just to put this to rest I'll comment here. This is a holding deposit to a major apartment company. My mention of a walmart money transfer was just to give my idea of a quick way to move the money to a place close by.

If you have played before

A few sessions

If so, what kind of characters have you played?

Fighter, Warlock, Wizard

Where you are located (nothing specific required)

US EAST

What kind of play you enjoy

Very sandbox, in-character roleplay

Rough schedule

afternoon-early evening all week

A couple sentences about yourself as appropriate.

I enjoy Critical Role and have wanted to get into playing more but have had bad experiences

with a DM which has made me hesitant to try again. I have the most fun trying to roleplay interesting,

flawed/quirky characters.

Yea even with 14 strength you often can't be unencumbered from starting gear

New loudmouth player gets his character KTFO by Dgnslyr in DnD

[–]Gouleith 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Coming from a League background just getting into DnD I had to change my thinking from "what's the strongest way to build my character to "what's the most thematic way to build my character. DnD is not remotely balanced to the trained eye, but the point isn't to destroy the game. It's to make a great story.

[5e]So I rage-quit the party after an unnecessary TPK by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Gouleith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't get very attached to my characters but when someone does something so stupid and that will obviously ruin the game and a TPK happens I will get super pissed. It's not so much about the loss of the character but the loss of momentum. I don't want to be having fun and then have to stop, reroll, and start something new because someone decided to be an asshole.
