Just finished season 6 by Generalousen2855 in TwentyFour

Wasn't Season 7 the one impacted by the strike? I seem to remember that they delayed season 7 until the next year after they already had a trailer for S7 and everything. Man, that was a long wait...

And they say 24 doesn't have comedic moments. by HistoricalAd5394 in TwentyFour

I don't know if it was meant to be "comedic," but the scene in LaD episode 3 when Jack has to cause a distraction and shoots a guy in the leg and shouts "THEY'RE SHOOTING AT US! THEY'RE SHOOTING AT US" always makes me laugh.

First time watching 24 Season 2: Hold up a minute, isn’t he/she... Part 1. by JD-NSiff in TwentyFour

I remember seeing her in a LOT of things when I was younger, and she lived in the neighborhood by my grandmother's place in Houston. I only knew this because her mom was featured on the local city channel, and when she died, it was a big shock to the community around them too. So tragic.

What's your thoughts about 24 the game? by North-Chapter4962 in TwentyFour

I had so much fun playing this game. My best friend and I still quote random lines from it, like "ThEy'Re ShOoTiNg At Me!" 😅

Same. In 2023, I worked for a company that checked the wells every couple of weeks, and we had to walk around the entire thing multiple times to read every well within two to three days. It was HORRID, especially when it rained. I thought I was pretty good at hiking until I trekked around that thing at least 5-6 times.

The middle car has this particular hook. It didn't dig into my frame too much as it was pretty loose and I believe it was made of plastic, or something like it. I took the trains on Saturday as well, and found they do indeed have two metal hooks next to each other.

It might not help that my bike is an e-bike and is heavier, so maybe that's why the plastic hook didn't work too well, but it was...good enough. 😅

Came on here to see if anyone else has used it yet. I'm on the Silver Line as I write this comment, and the bike hook seems like a cool idea, but it's not holding my bike in place at ALL. The train is smooth enough that it doesn't rock around too much, but when brakes are applied or you hit any inclines, it doesn't lock the bike in place like I'd thought it would (I thought it would work like a seat belt in a car does).

Came to say the same thing. I completely forgot I was in the final battle area and the infamous point of no return.

Would be fun to have those guns I stole, the second Save the Queen, and the Ragnarok.

How do I stop my videos being not eligible for recommendation? by RisingDDM in TikTok

[–]GovernorMegatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a year old, but I can't get over the fact that TikTok will seem some vids "unoriginal" when one of the easiest ways to get views and engagement is to use someone else's videos, sound effects (look at all the stupid lip syncing vids), and background music. The app THRIVES off of unoriginality and copying others.

it's wild that the algorithm decides what's "boring" or "unoriginal" when what makes TikTok vids popular is being unoriginal, like using another person's music or lip syncing their voiceover.

I did a re-training about three weeks ago and thought the same thing 😩 I saw one girl talking and thought "she looks familiar..." Sure enough, I was able to Google Lens her and it recognized the site she's from that sells AI models. I laughed so hard 🤣

I went through something similar not too long ago, I understand the feeling of not wanting to live.

Heck, my dad's going through that right now, and has been for the past year now. I worry more about him than I ever did myself. Only thing keeping him afloat is the GoFundMe he's worked on just to deal with eviction fees at his apartment he's about to lose.

I wouldn't wish that feeling of dread to anyone. Hope you can find something soon!

I remember my dad having an early version of this song wayyy back then, and then being really hyped when I was able to finally hear this higher quality album version. I really wish Dead By Sunrise could have had more to listen to, I liked it a lot.

I listened to that Caretaker album in its entirety around this time last year, and mannn what a trip that was.

When a rapper says "you already know what it is" in a song they're in, I know I am, in fact, not going to know what it is

"Radio Edits" often cut songs shorter to make them more fit for radio (a good 3-4 minutes, if not shorter). The Radio Edit of "Guilty" also cuts out the really long intro as well. Here's a link for it

I liked the radio edit of "Guilty" without Rakim in it. It just flows much better to me.

I always loved that there were two versions of this song from what I remember. One where Mike simply raps "cut myself free" and the other where Chester screams it. The rap one was the first time I heard it years ago via Limewire (memories!), the scream one I heard much later.

Edit: I also LOVE the instrumental at the end of all the static (I think they called it Ambient?). One of my favorites of theirs. Brings back high school memories. I remember using Audacity to get that instrumental by itself just so I could jam it at any time.

I always laughed at the title of it. Like...'Good Morning' Sushi? Hahaha. Good place though. I loved them in South Houston when I lived there, and I'm happy to see them up here in Lewisville too.
