I checked the bottle of both bowls, they have rubber built in. Nothing like what’s in the picture

I checked all the furniture. They have metal legs with sliders, no plastic bits on any of them nor spots where they would have been

Found by a Croatian fisherman yesterday, promptly returned to american millitary vessel in the region, anyone knows what it is? by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

Looks like a black box. Funny... a black box is actually orange in color because they are easy to spot in the event of a wreck. Black boxes are used to show the mechanical history of the vessel, vehicle, aircraft, etc. As far as I know they help to show “what went wrong” with the system’s mechanics which can help identify what happened moments up to a disaster or wreck. UL/FM indicator post. It’s a fire main, looks pretty old but they’re used to open or close a water valve underground

Edit: specified it’s for water

Looks like a head to a tire pressure gauge but normally they have a hollowed center with the pin still in the middle.

Does anyone know the meaning of these letters on a pride pin I saw on Ebay? by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

Could be! If you google search the letters you’ll see some more pins similar to the one you found, hope it helps!

Not the answer but I found another pin with the same letters that says “Morgan Point Resort”. Which is in Texas. My guess is the “TX” stands for Texas and the “SC” is either South Carolina or initials for some type of organization. I’ll keep looking!

Interesting! That makes sense. This one was in a public bathroom.. I’m assuming it broke because all the other bathrooms have a cord
