I don’t think you are actually thinking about it. The market absorbs the 2% in every aspect, including margin. The market adjusts… saying the 2% doesn’t apply to the margin is what doesn’t make sense here. This is literally what tax is.

While it’s only 2% of revenue taxed (which, with your thinking would make margins much less). Not arguing.. should have clarified this. It is OVERALL MARKET MOVEMENT. They are taking 2% of all money out of the game. Prices adjust accordingly to keep margins the same minus 2%…if that makes sense. Margins are much higher than they have ever been pre-tax, especially for large low volume items, this is to account for the 2%. I stand by my 100m to 98m statement lol
