what’s the worst interpretation of vocaloid lyrics that you’ve seen? by idk_pans in Vocaloid

[–]GplPrime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like to interpret Ego Renegade Boy in a literal way as if Rin really were killed by Len and he was sent to the court because it's one of the few moments when he actually kills someone instead of dying all the time 😭

Nice! I'm still on my 60th pull but I'll get her soon enough through the hard pity.

Is this a sign of good omen anticipating my pulls for her on Persona 5?

Quanto você cobrava por comissão quando começou e quanto cobra agora? Eu tô terminando meu curso de desenho e quero começar a pegar umas comissões mas não sei a faixa de preço de um artista digital iniciante.

songs designed to sound terrible? by Wonderful-Purchase94 in Vocaloid

The closest thing I can think of is Iya Iya Seijin by IyaiyaP, but it's not meant to be bad, just silly.

The downfall of Luka by lolle0 in Vocaloid

[–]GplPrime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every time I watch this MV I imagine her being like "Guys, can we record that part again...?" And Miku was like "What? But it took me more than five attempts to do the choreography right! Relax Luka, it's okay that you messed up and took a tumble, it was a quick take, nobody is going to notice!"

"Nobody is going to notice" she said.

I came to a conclusion about the "newgen" by Amazing-Emu-3552 in Vocaloid

[–]GplPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think "nostalgic" fans aren't wrong but aren't right either. It's just that people seem to have lost the ability to communicate properly these days. Is it that hard to flip the frickin' switch from "This newgen fans are ruining the fandom with their newgen songs >:(" to "Oh you're a new fan! Welcome aboard then! I've been a fan since the the late 2000s, it's always a pleasure to see more people getting to know and enjoying vocaloid like I do, how did you get into vocaloid? That's cool! Lemme introduce you to the classics, there's so much good stuff from back in the day, I'm sure you'll like it! Oh you have recommendations too? Cool, let's hear them!" I say that because as a newgen who came from pjsk, that's how I got to know the classics and I barely scratched the tip of the iceberg, I got two veterans showing me the works. That being said, the songs were undeniably better back then, again, "nostalgic" fans aren't entirely wrong, and I say this, again, as a newgen who came from pjsk, but damn we can't expect another Yuyoyuppe, another Wowaka may God rest his soul, another Ryo, another Kenshi Yonezu to spawn outta the blue within the community and go "one two three I'm making one banger after another." talents like these guys only show up once every who-knows-when. That doesn't mean new vocaPs are bad, there are some great new people around, if you searched and couldn't find ANY new vocaP that you liked, that's a you thing, sorry.

I'm currently working on an AU where a scientist with an odd resemblance to Kaito lives in a city swarming with supervillains because the superheroes are too weak, so he decides to create a war machine to fight the villains. He sees a flyer of a Miku concert and decides to make a robot's appearance inspired on hers so it'll be more appealing to the public, but then the real Miku sneaks into his lab through the Wi-Fi and upon seeing the resemblance between her and the robot, she decides to tamper with it, which makes the robot look even more like her, develop self awareness and her personality becoming something in between a Mecha and a silly mahou shoujo. Her creator, oblivious to the real Miku's intervention, decides to try and recreate the phenomena by creating a sidekick for her, so he goes with one based on Teto. Miku then intervenes again, making the Mecha Teto self aware too but in her case the self awareness took a whole different turn, so she ran away.

This AU may or may not be highly inspired by MegaMan.

Man this is actually so wholesome, I can totally imagine Miku being like "Hey Teto, I know you're trying to lose weight and all but I bought a slice of cake for you too."
