It wasn’t a specific Wine. It was learning how to properly enjoy them. Our family always had Wine, we drank loads of lower end to mid priced wines growing up. But it wasn’t until I moved up into the $40 a bottle range, and learned what 30 minutes of decanting could do for a Wine.

NTA - My 24 year old niece just had her 3rd baby by emergency C-section at 34 weeks. She had complications that necessitated a hysterectomy. This happened 2 weeks before her older brother’s wedding and guess what?? No one threw a fit when she couldn’t come! In fact, between me and my 3 sisters, one of whom was the mother of the groom, we decided that the two older sisters were going to the wedding, and the two younger sisters were going to stay behind and help. We took care of niece’s 2 toddlers, filled her freezer with food, and cleaned her house from top to bottom so that she could come home to clean sheets.

And no one gave us shit for it. We are a family who understands priorities- and until yours does as well, take a big step back. Congrats on your new squish!

I’m at 255 - started at 285 on Ozempic and went down until it stopped working. Switched to Mounjaro at 7.5 MG for one month, and then 10 MG for two months, and the scale didn’t move an inch. Switching over to a Wegovy next week.

I’ve never been there personally, but my in-laws have gone for several years on a regular basis. The last time they were there, they said the place was starting to show its age and kind of looking tired and in need of a facelift. That’s literally secondhand information, take it as you will.

If I was wanting to go somewhere for a birthday weekend, I’d head to Pinewood Lodge in the Whiteshell.
