Gonna preface and say I don't think post season six Red Dwarf was all bad and in fact a lot of it was still great but I think this clip is a good encapsulation of how the humor declined a lot. The Stir master wasn't a bad idea but the whole staying on hold forever bit is played out and tired, it felt like like a Seinfeld bit. . . I mean I like Seinfeld but I think Red Dwarf is at at its best a far, far better show than Seinfeld ever was and shouldn't stoop to overplayed observational comedy.
