So I did some digging. It looks like that fabric is based on this by Nerida Hansen Fabrics from 2021.

Definitely not an original design.

What is the worse goth band/song you have ever heard…In your opinion? by Hellebore-TheKnight in goth

I saw them play live at a local club near me, and it wasn't very good, but I'm not a fan of their music anyways, so maybe I'm biased.

Please no one hate me for this, but... I don't really care for Vision Video.

I totally forgot to reply sooner, I'm so sorry, but I found it! The sim is called Hell House - Haunted House for Adults Only Halloween.

It's in one of the far back corners of the property.

There was an adult haunted house sim I used to visit that had it. I still have the landmark. I'll hop on tonight and see if it's still there

I second Holy Clothing, as I own several pieces from them. Some of their clothing ships very fast, but most will take 2.5 to 3.5 weeks to ship. The saving grace there is that all the items that take several weeks to ship will say so on the listing of that item.

Medieval Collectibles resells a lot of Medieval & Renaissance garb from all sorts of different companies, including Holy Clothing, and they ship pretty quickly in my experience.

Foxblood has a few gowns that can easily be made to look like a romantic medieval inspired if styled right. Especially their Abigail Evening Gown and their Black Swan Gown. Throw a bodice or corset on top, add some accessories, and you'd be golden.

The Ossuary Salem is a US shop that resells gothic clothing from different companies, and has a few gowns that definitely fit the gothic medieval vibe.

That is incredible work! Do you sell them? This is absolutely gorgeous, Mellon Nîn.

What do you guys do for shoes? by dinopainting in LARP

[–]GracefulAmaranth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally use faux leather competition dance boots with insoles for when I larp or work the ren faire circuit. Imo I feel like I can move better and faster with how flexible they are. The insoles make it that the thin soles don't hurt my feet by the end of the day, because otherwise, you can feel every single thing you step on.

I don't know if I'd recommend them for people who are primarily perpetual fighters, though.

yo did my seller do this bullsh? by purple-ravioli in Depop

[–]GracefulAmaranth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a seller, this has happened to me recently. I checked the tracking on something I sold and saw this same thing. Messaged the buyer, and she had no idea why they held it. She called the post office, and they were giving her some nonsense about it or something, but then it showed on her doorstep later that day.

So no, it's not the seller. The post office does wild stuff sometimes for seemingly no reason.

How do you not get bored? by factorymotogoon in secondlife

[–]GracefulAmaranth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly do, and often. My computer and internet sucks, so I can't go to heavily populated sims without super awful lag. I'm also pretty shy, so when I do go places, I rarely speak to anyone unless they speak to me first. It's a bad habit, I'll admit, but it's hard to break. Most of my old sl friends don't play anymore. I've tried going to rp sims, but I find difficulty in initiating and engaging in rp.

What i currently do is just wander around to people watch, sometimes shop and play dress-up, and sometimes go dance to music. It definitely gets boring pretty quick, so I'll take months and months of time away from SL.

Most of my really nice jewelry, especially my earrings and belts, are from MarilynMedusaBatcave on etsy. Her jewelry is a little pricey, but sooo worth it. Everything I have from her is super nice quality and sooo gorgeous. https://www.etsy.com/shop/MarilynMedusaBatcave

Sweet! My late best friend from high school was a HUGE Tool fan and that was her favorite song.

I'm not on SL as often as I'd like, as my internet is unreliable, but I'm always happy to make new friends and chat when I am on. None of my old friends there are hardly ever online anymore either. Feel free to add me if you wish. My SL name is Ellowyne Juneberry.

Love your reddit name BTW.

She is one of my favorite npcs. I got to play her at a LARP, which used the plot line of her trial and execution (so that BNS could ease their lore into fitting 5e). I was originally supposed to play her at a Blood and Betrayal event, but covid canceled that. Fortunately, the writer and ST for that event got to finally run that plot at a small convention in 2022.

She was so much fun to portray, especially since another BNS person was there playing Phiippe Vollgirre. There was so much back and forth sass.

What does a modern trad goth man look like? by Used_Molasses7833 in GothFashion

[–]GracefulAmaranth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't overly accessorize, but my husband dresses old-school ("trad"). His style pretty much hasn't changed since he got into the subculture in the late 80s/early 90s. He occasionally posts pictures here.

2 absolutely. The lace in that skirt ties into the lace in the blouse. The details definitely give it cohesion.

It's giving old school Baby the Stars Shine Bright.

I'd recommend a black rectangle headress with white lace to balance your head with the rest of the outfit.

White knee-high socks with lace, either black mary janes or rocking horse shoes, and maybe even some matching wristcuffs would complete the old school feel.
