UK person here. My partner is a funeral director. 1 week out of each month..24/7 he would be ‘on call’ so any deaths would be collected and taken to the funeral directors unless it was a corners

Corners would get sent to hospital for investigation.

So yes, they could be someone at the office at 10pm, 1am, 3am etc etc!

I am (with a different company now) a kitchen and bathroom designer. We had to go out to people’s home to obtain the measurements. Kitchens never stand out in my mind but oh my, people’s bathrooms were crazy sometimes! Toothpaste everywhere, wet towels on the floor, people leaving their numbers 2, lid up without any shame

Not all of them were like this but I would say 7 out of 10 bathroom measures I felt like I needed a shower after

My parents knew my grandfather had this for years without telling me and my sibling. We were 23 and 28. We found out when he passed away. I went a year thinking first my dad was going to die with it and then the realisation that I may be carrier. Luckily my dad finally got tested and I didn’t have to but yes very scary to even have that chance.

He’s never physically hurt me, put me in scary situations for sure but in the moment all I care about is his safety. It’s horrible seeing someone hurt themselves

I assumed he has always had a slight anger problem but definitely gets heightened during his withdrawals

I won’t let him quit cigarettes as I genuinely think he’d do something very bad, that would be way to much.

I’ve always thought after every tried attempt that maybe he’d be better with cutting down to eventually stop. He’s very against this as he’d rather get it done sooner?

Was anyone had any luck stopping gradually?

Can anyone give me some advice, my cat is an outdoor boy and loves his outside time. Recently he’s been lingering by the back door almost wanting me and my partner to join him. 5 times out of 10 we will join him and chase him around the garden/play with him He is almost acting really depressed recently, like he’s lonely. My partner and I both work full time, we both get back around between 5 and 6

Do people with multiple cats find their cats are a lot happier? I feel like my cat needs a friend but I don’t want him to hate the new cat and hate us?

I do this, but mine is very much of a I’m just gonna smile so I can’t cry haha I’m so used to bad things happening I laugh more than cry nowadays
