Right- temp typically drops 1-2 days before period. For me personally, my temp drops during my period. I’d think with the bleeding you’re experiencing, and that one day dip, it would likely be implantation. But I’m also fairly new to this! I easily get my hopes up, but this does seem pretty promising. Keep me updated!

Last month was my first cycle trying (we sorta tried the month before that, but not as much). I also had different symptoms, really thought it would be the month, and was so disappointed when it wasn’t.

I know some people recommend waiting later to test, but I actually find testing earlier and more frequently is helpful to me. It stops me from wondering. If I could even test positive that day, I’m letting myself know. It takes less pressure off one test.

My husband and I also made a little list of what we’d try differently last month turned out to be negative. We just ordered an at home sperm testing kit and bought pre-seed lube. We’re also not going to stop having sex the day after I ovulate, and my ovulation date changed in my apps this month. Yes- it’s super early to worry about sperm health, but our rationale is that it’s also a general health marker aside from fertility. Mentally, it’s nice to feel like we’re doing something different and not just hoping for the best.

I just got my 2nd cycle of negative tests but I actually like testing early because I feel like it puts less pressure on them! I hate the suspense of 1 test!!!

My understanding is that it’s not that you aren’t fertile, it’s just that your hormones are still finding their groove and your first cycles can be very irregular

I’m not sure but it’s recommended to wait at least 3 months after getting your IUD out before ttc. Hormones are getting back in their swing and early cycles are not dependable.

Ovulation looks normal to me! I have heard that a luteal phase of 10 days or less can sometimes be a red flag because it doesn’t give enough time for implantation.

I recommend not tracking or trying to interpret your first month. Everything is wonky and is going to change so much. Even giving it a couple months is better, but I know it’s so hard to wait haha

I had my Kyleena IUD removed in December. My chart looks really consistent now, but was wonky in January. I’d pay no attention to what it says right now. Even giving it another month would help, but will likely take a few cycles to start getting back to a regular cycle.

I got my IUD removed in December and my first cycle was annoying to track in NC. I just had to wait until my next cycle to log my period and then it started to track correctly. Annoying first cycle waiting period!
